What would you tell your 14 -year -old self?

At 14, I was already independent. I lived in the Philippines, and my mom was an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker). She worked overseas to help us financially, so she sacrificed a lot for me as a teenager, but because of that, I didn’t have my mom beside me. I didn’t know what to do. I was able to find myself at that age.

I would tell her after everything I went through, I grew up to be a strong woman and a wonderful mom.

What is your definition of success?

Success is such a big word for everyone, but to me, success is only happiness. When you love what you do, that’s success. What you bring to your kids and the joy you bring to your family, that’s success. 

It doesn’t matter what degree or education you have, if you’re able to help people live a better life every day, and lead with your heart. That is true success.
