What are your thoughts on aging? What are your thoughts on being your age?

I outlived my mother. The reason I decided to do the 40 over 40 photoshoot is to celebrate myself turning 50 years old and to dedicate this photoshoot to my mom. Embrace your age, body, and beauty. Life is too short to settle for less, because anything can happen in a blink of an eye.

How is your age group relevant?

Turning 50 is not only a landmark golden birthday, but a testament to five decades of life, wisdom, and invaluable experiences. It's an opportune moment to pause, reflect on the journey experienced thus far, and eagerly anticipate the adventures yet to unfold.

Younger women and girls, might think that it's scary getting older. What wonderful things can women look forward to at your age?

As you age, celebrating and reflecting on your past 5 decades of life, are wonderful things you can look forward to. It’s your time to reflect, embrace, and learn.

Share tips on how you celebrate yourself, what you do for fun, and self care.

Make and spend quality time with your loved ones. I celebrate myself with positive affirmations, daily self care and love, taking care of your body, treating myself to massages, facials, mani/pedi’s, a new hairdo, and traveling.

Share one experience or piece of advice that would lift other women up and empower them. 

Surround yourself with positivity and you’ll get positive results.
