What are your thoughts on aging? 

Aging is a privilege that many people don't get to experience. I've had four siblings pass in the last five years; my father was 57 when he passed. Enjoy life while you can!

Younger women might think that it's scary getting older. What wonderful things can women look forward to at your age?  

No more menstrual cycles (lol!). I feel like I've grown into my looks. I have an income stream that allows me to do special things (within reason), like this photo shoot.

Share tips on how you celebrate yourself, what you do for fun, and self-care.

I love singing and I am always looking out for new places to sing.

What would you tell your 14-year-old self? 

You're 98 lbs.; no matter how skinny your sisters are, you are NOT fat.

Who inspired you as a little girl? Who inspires you now? 

My father inspired me. He was hard-working and always took care of his family. He is still my inspiration today, even though he passed over 20 years ago.

What was your greatest challenge, and how did you overcome it? 

Getting a divorce. I was working part-time at the time of my divorce, and I took whatever job would have me until I landed in healthcare marketing.

What is your definition of success? 

Having enough money to visit my son and his family several times a year and being able to travel to other countries. I had never left Hawai’i until I went away to college.
